NIPUN Bharat Mission or National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with understanding and Numeracy is launched by the Education Ministry of India under National Education Policy 2020.This scheme ensures that every child in India gains foundational numeracy and literacy by the end of Grade 3.
NIPUN Bharat focuses on transforming the monotonous education system into an integrated, enjoyable, all-inclusive and engaging.It instructs teachers or educators to prepare a study plan that develops the students’ literary and basic language skills.
NIPUN mission plans to achieve the discussed goals by 2026-27.
Nipun Bharat aims at developing foundational skills to reduce dropouts, and increasing the number clearing primary, upper primary and secondary stages. It envisions an enhanced education quality due to conducive and activity based teaching.
PM Shri K V CLRI has taken effective measures in equipping teachers with necessary teaching learning material, assessment worksheets, etc. to help make learning joyful and all inclusive, thereby strengthening foundational competence amongst children in the age bracket of 3 to 9 years.
